Dubai's Museum of the Future gets over 20,000 'Future Perfects' applications in 48 hours

· N GLOBE

Dubai's Museum of the Future received more than 20,000 completed applications within 48 hours of launching its 'Future Perfects' recruitment drive on October 21, with 42,000 visits to the campaign website in the same period.

Why it matters

This is a hiring drive that explicitly does not ask for a conventional CV: the museum says no prior museum or customer-service experience is required, and candidates are judged on imagination, curiosity, emotional intelligence, warmth and adaptability. More than 20,000 applications in 48 hours suggests the approach itself is part of the attraction.

Full report

Dubai's Museum of the Future launched the 'Future Perfects' recruitment campaign on October 21, seeking the people who will deliver its fully reimagined visitor experience when it reopens in 2027. The museum says it received more than 20,000 completed applications in the first 48 hours, while the campaign website recorded 42,000 visits.

Those selected will join the Visitor Experience team in full-time roles, guiding visitors through ideas about science, technology, nature, society and the future through personal interaction. The selection process runs through application review, assessments and shortlisting, ending in final live auditions before an expert panel.

Chief Operating Officer Azza AlNuaimi said the first-48-hours response reflects strong interest in career opportunities that recognise human potential beyond what is written on a CV, adding that what makes someone uniquely human could be exactly what makes them a Future Perfect. Applications remain open until November 8, 2026, via Futureperfects.ae.
