The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) launched Hong Kong Gourmet Month on November 2, following the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, bringing together more than 400 restaurants, bars and food and beverage outlets across the city to offer limited-time menus, dining offers and unique experiences throughout November, inviting locals and visitors to taste the city's flavours from lunch to late night. Five themes: star dining, Michelin at 30% off, late-night eats

The campaign has five themed strands: a wine-pairing gala by award-winning chefs and sommeliers, with 40 award-winning restaurants taking part including the Michelin three-star Tang Court; Taste More Hong Kong, offering selected Michelin dishes at up to 30% off across more than 200 venues; a late-night dining guide bringing together nearly 80 brands and more than 100 outlets serving local bites after 9 p.m.; plus Cocktail Fest Month and Sip and Savour in LKF, covering bars and nightlife. The HKTB has also issued a Gourmet Month Privilege Card with more than 250 restaurant and shopping privileges.

Follows the Wine & Dine Festival, which drew 340-plus booths to the harbourfront

Gourmet Month follows the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, held October 29 to November 1 at the Central Harbourfront with more than 340 booths. HKTB chairman Dr Peter Lam said the festival had drawn to a successful close, attracting visitors from around the world as well as locals and showcasing Hong Kong's appeal as an international culinary capital, and that Gourmet Month now carries that buzz from the harbourfront into neighbourhoods across the city, so visitors and locals can enjoy Hong Kong's dining scene from day to night, every day in November. Details are on the HKTB's official event page.
