Update: Sichuan mudslide kills two; three remain missing in Yanbian County

China National Radio reported at 00:18 on September 20, citing an official Yanbian County government notice, that localized heavy rain triggered the mudslide early September 19 near Shijiagou Tunnel in Zhi Liuhe Village, Gezhala Yi Township. Five people were initially missing. By 23:00 on September 19, two had been found without vital signs and three remained missing.

Yanbian County activated a level-two geological-disaster emergency response.
