Multiple public accounts report ammunition-depot explosions south of Aleppo

The X account @DrMalko posted two videos at 22:13 UTC on September 20, describing a weapons-depot explosion in the Aleppo countryside with multiple secondary detonations. The post explicitly said the initial cause, damage and possible casualties were unclear.

@Judy20255 posted three videos at 22:24 UTC, locating the scene near al-Eis in the southern Aleppo countryside and attributing the facility to the Damascus government. @ME_Observer_ posted another viewpoint at 22:28 UTC and described it as the same southern Aleppo depot explosion. The claimed government ownership comes only from public-account descriptions and is not stated as established fact in this report.

N Globe opened each post and checked the account, text, video and publication time. The visible clips use different foregrounds and distances but consistently show intense fire near the nighttime horizon, repeated explosions and burning fragments thrown into the air. Their core visual evidence is consistent, but the accounts are not official sources.

Old-media check: N Globe searched combinations of al-Eis or العيص, southern Aleppo, weapons or ammunition depot, explosion and secondary detonations in English and Arabic, and compared the visuals with recent depot incidents at Sarmada on September 9, rural Damascus on September 12 and Deir al-Zor on September 18. No pre-22:13 UTC appearance of these clips or clear contradiction linking them to those earlier incidents was found. Not finding an older copy means only that reuse was not detected; it does not confirm every factual claim.

As of 22:36 UTC, public searches found no confirmation or denial from Syrian authorities, civil defence or a major wire service concerning an al-Eis blast. Whether the event was an accident, external strike or something else, whether anyone was hurt, what was stored at the site and who managed it all remain unverified.
