Singapore's Singtel RE:AI Becomes First in Asia Pacific to Deploy NVIDIA DGX GB300, With Initial Capacity Fully Committed

Singtel's sovereign AI cloud business RE:AI has become the first in Asia Pacific to deploy NVIDIA DGX GB300, with initial capacity offered as GPU-as-a-Service fully committed ahead of deployment; Singapore's Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) will also upgrade its sovereign AI infrastructure NGINE with the new GPUs.
SINGAPORE — Singtel's sovereign AI cloud business RE:AI has become the first platform in Asia Pacific to deploy NVIDIA DGX GB300. Announced on October 28, the deployment offers the compute through GPU-as-a-Service, so enterprises can use it without building and maintaining the underlying AI infrastructure; Singtel said the initial capacity was fully committed before deployment, reflecting strong demand for advanced AI compute.
A sovereign cloud: data stays local, compute on demand
The DGX GB300 is designed to help enterprises process larger, more complex AI workloads at scale, from AI agents that analyse vast amounts of information and carry out multi-step tasks to advanced robotics and scientific research involving large datasets. Placing it in a sovereign cloud gives organisations greater control over where sensitive data and workloads are stored and processed, helping meet data security, integrity and residency requirements, particularly for regulated sectors.
The Singapore use case: HTX upgrades NGINE
In Singapore, RE:AI has partnered with the Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) to upgrade its sovereign AI infrastructure, NGINE, with DGX GB300 GPUs, powering embodied AI and multimodal model training at the Home Team Humanoid Robotics Centre. Bill Chang, CEO of Singtel Digital InfraCo, said: "AI is advancing rapidly and the cost and complexity of keeping infrastructure current can become a barrier to wider enterprise adoption of AI." Through GPU-as-a-Service, he said, customers can access the most advanced compute without continually refreshing their own infrastructure, while ensuring complete data residency.
Deployment is a starting point; adoption comes next
Singtel said the deployment complements its Nxera AI-ready data centres and its Paragon orchestration platform, forming an end-to-end AI ecosystem. Deployment alone does not establish commercial returns; the test ahead is whether the added capacity turns into real customer adoption and growth, which will show up in the company's later business updates.
