Teen arrested at a Suisun City home

Police said a school resource officer identified the suspect within hours of the initial 911 call, and detectives later located him at a home in nearby Suisun City, where he was arrested on November 2. The suspect is 17, and police are not releasing his name because he is a minor. Police believe he acted alone and targeted a specific person inside the store rather than firing at random; a motive has not been established.

Murder and attempted murder charges; prosecutors weighing an extra count

Police said the teenager faces murder and attempted murder charges. The Solano County District Attorney's Office is reviewing the case, including whether Hages's pregnancy could warrant an additional murder charge; no formal charging decision had been announced as of Monday evening. Police also disclosed that the suspect had previously been arrested, sentenced and released in connection with a separate 2025 shooting in the parking lot of a local high school after school hours. The investigation continues, with assistance from the FBI.
