Canada's National Fuel Day today: Circle K cuts 10 cents a litre, 3–7 p.m. local time
On Oct 15, participating Circle K stations nationwide knock 10 cents off every litre from 3 to 7 p.m. local time, applied right at the pump; app users in western provinces get early access from 11 a.m.; Ontario fuel-ups trigger $1 donations to children's hospitals.
Why it matters
Circle K is bringing back National Fuel Day today (Thursday, Oct 15): from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, participating Circle K and Couche-Tard-operated stations across Canada are cutting 10 cents per litre, with the discount applied directly at the pump — no coupon needed. A 50-litre fill-up saves about $5.
Early access out west
Registered Circle K app users in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories can get the same 10-cent discount early, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. App download, registration and login are required; one redemption per account, a maximum of 100 litres per vehicle, and it cannot be combined with the afternoon Fuel Day offer.
Ontario fill-ups support kids' hospitals
In Ontario, Circle K will donate $1 to local children's hospitals for every fuel transaction during Fuel Day, up to $50,000. Fine print: at Prince Edward Island locations, customers must pay in-store to get the discount; in Nova Scotia the discount is capped at 100 litres per vehicle.
