World No. 8 Karolina Muchova opened with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Anhelina Kalinina, firing 24 winners without facing a break point. 2026 Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova then sealed the tie 6-4, 7-6(5) over Elina Svitolina: after taking the opener, the second set went 12 straight holds into a tiebreak, where Noskova converted her third match point. The deciding doubles rubber was not needed.
Ukraine's landmark run
Ukraine reached its first-ever BJK Cup final without star Marta Kostyuk (wrist injury), with Svitolina leading wins over Belgium and defending champions Italy. Czechia dropped just one set across the entire Finals week.
