Day-one highlights
At the "Next in Beauty" conference, BeautyMatter founder and CEO Kelly Kovack presented the "GCC in Focus" report, arguing that Saudi Arabia and the UAE can no longer be treated as a single market; Harrods Head of Beauty Mia Collins spoke on luxury retail trends. The "Next in Fragrance" forum examined the global fragrance map, with Fragrance Creators Association CEO Farah K. Ahmed noting that three of the ten best-selling fragrance brands on US TikTok Shop this year are UAE houses (Lattafa, Armaf and Afnan). Masterclasses were led by makeup artists Mary Phillips and Aya Abdelhamid and hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos.
