Dubai International Stays World's Busiest for Scheduled International Seats in November, With 4.47 Million Departure Seats

OAG data cited by Emirates247 put Dubai International's scheduled international departure seats at 4.47 million in November, ahead of London Heathrow at about 3.79 million, though Dubai's figure is down 15.6% year on year.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) remains the world's busiest airport for scheduled international capacity in November. Airlines have scheduled 4.47 million international departure seats from Dubai, equivalent to about 8.94 million seats in both directions, according to OAG data cited by Emirates247, ahead of London Heathrow at about 3.79 million seats. Still first, but down year on year
OAG's Middle East aviation data also list Dubai at 4.47 million seats, down 15.6% year on year, or 826,063 fewer seats. Dubai therefore keeps the top spot while operating at a notably smaller scale than a year earlier, amid regional route disruption and suspended services.
UAE remains the region's largest market
The same OAG dataset puts the UAE at 7.0 million scheduled seats in November, the largest market in the Middle East, ahead of Saudi Arabia at 6.3 million. Dubai International operates no domestic flights, so its international seat count is effectively its total capacity, making the international ranking especially consequential for the airport.
