Dubai Municipality Launches Kids' Community Program at City Centre Mirdif Through Oct 11
Dubai Municipality launched its 'A Generation for a Greater Tomorrow' community initiative yesterday, offering free interactive educational stations for children and parents at City Centre Mirdif.
Why it matters
The community program, timed with the UAE's Year of the Family, lets children learn how the city works through play. It runs at City Centre Mirdif from October 7 to 11, 10 AM to 10 PM daily, and admission is free.

The initiative, titled 'A Generation for a Greater Tomorrow,' features interactive stations covering agriculture (native plants, seedlings, soil, irrigation), health and safety at home and in public places (roads, beaches, parks), public health and waste management, laboratory science experiments, and a communication/content-creation and digital-games platform.
Dubai Municipality says the program brings children and parents closer to the diverse work of its departments. Local outlets GoDubai and Dubai PR Network carried the municipality's newsroom release the same day.
