Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that its 121st open auction of distinctive vehicle plates will be held on October 24 at the Dubai Hilton Al Habtoor City Hotel, offering 60 two- to five-digit plate numbers. Highlights include the two-digit 'super numbers' BB 80, BB 18 and CC 44, expected to draw collectors, investors and enthusiasts.

The auction covers codes AA, BB, CC, H, U, V, W, X, Y and Z, alongside harmonious, easy-to-recall two- to five-digit combinations. Participants will be welcomed at the venue from 2:00 p.m. on auction day.
Bidder registration opened on October 18 via rta.ae or at Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira and Al Barsha. Bidders must hold a Dubai traffic file and provide a refundable AED 25,000 security cheque plus a non-refundable AED 120 participation fee; winning bidders must pay within 10 working days of the auction or forfeit the deposit and be listed as non-compliant. Plate sales are subject to 5% VAT.
