Self-storage aggregator asia.storage launched in Hong Kong on Oct. 27, bringing together 191 verified facilities from 25 operators that renters can compare in one place.

Self-storage aggregator asia.storage announced its Hong Kong launch on Oct. 27, bringing together 191 verified facilities from 25 operators. Renters can compare facility pricing, available unit sizes, amenities and locations on a single platform, while operators gain direct access to renters actively looking for storage.

Why Hong Kong needs a comparison platform

Hong Kong's extreme real estate density and premium property costs have forced residents and businesses to think differently about space: renters squeeze into micro-apartments, small businesses operate from co-working spaces, and families pay premium prices to store seasonal items. Self-storage has become essential infrastructure, but accessing it has remained fragmented, with no centralized aggregator for comparing operators, pricing or unit availability.

Scale of the platform

The company describes asia.storage as Asia's first aggregator consolidating facilities across multiple markets. It operates across more than 20 Asian markets, consolidating more than 750 facilities run by more than 100 independent storage companies, in markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia. The Hong Kong launch brings that continent-wide platform to renters in the city.
