Held Oct 10–13 at the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) in Busan, South Korea, the campaign featured the Hong Kong Pavilion, Hong Kong Night and more, bridging Hong Kong filmmakers with overseas industry players and buyers and fostering collaboration.

Six Hong Kong production and distribution companies exhibited at the Hong Kong Pavilion, including Blast Films International, Cappu Films, First Step Movie Distribution Studio, Just Distribution Company, October Pictures and Xiaowu Brothers (Hong Kong). Edko Films, Emperor Motion Pictures and others also engaged international buyers and investors on co-production opportunities.

Hong Kong films selected for the 31st BIFF included Dead End, directed by Isabella Lam and distributed by One Cool Group, which had its world premiere in the Vision-Asia section, and Cold War 1994, produced by Edko Films, selected for the Special Screenings & Carte Blanche section. Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries Drew Lai said the agency will boost film production and nurture talent through funding schemes under the Film Development Fund, and set up a dedicated support unit to make it easy for overseas crews to film in Hong Kong.
