Police Commissioner Fatai Tijani announced on October 7 at the Ikeja command headquarters that 80 suspects were arrested between October 1 and 7, covering armed robbery, highway robbery, recruitment scams and infrastructure vandalism.

At about 10 PM on October 4, a gun battle broke out on Gasikia Road in Ijora-Badia: two suspected robbers were killed and one was arrested, with two Beretta pistols and four rounds of 9mm ammunition recovered.
