On Saturday, October 3, the Metropolitan Police's Camden Town Centre team joined Camden Council Trading Standards to raid retail premises on Camden High Street, seizing a large quantity of suspected counterfeit designer goods valued at about £1 million.
"Counterfeit goods can fund organised criminality, undermine legitimate businesses, and leave consumers at risk from products that may be unsafe or fail to meet required standards," said Sergeant Martyn Dawson of the Camden Town Centre team.
