Celebrini finished with two assists, Tyler Toffoli had a goal and an assist, Kiefer Sherwood and Nolan Allan also scored, and goalie Yaroslav Askarov made 31 saves for San Jose. The 2-0-0 start is the Sharks' first since the 2021-22 season.
For Los Angeles, Adrian Kempe, Artemi Panarin and Quinton Byfield each had a goal and an assist, Brandt Clarke had two assists, and Anton Forsberg made 20 saves in his season debut. The Kings, who lost their opener 8-4 to Colorado on Wednesday, have dropped four straight overtime games dating back to last season. "I really liked the way we played the overtime but hate the result," coach Peter Laviolette said.
