Montreal and Quebec City named host cities for 2027 FIVB Women's World Cup — first edition in North America

The FIVB announced on Oct 1 that the 2027 Women's Volleyball World Cup runs Aug 20–Sept 5, with Montreal and Quebec City co-hosting alongside three US cities for a 32-team field.

The 2027 Women's Volleyball World Cup takes place from August 20 to September 5, 2027. Montreal and Quebec City will join Omaha, Nebraska, and Orlando, Florida in hosting the pool phase and Round of 16 from August 20 to 28; the quarterfinals, semifinals and final will be staged in Anaheim, California.

Canada and the United States were confirmed as co-hosts of the tournament in September 2025; today's announcement named the host cities. "This is a milestone moment for volleyball in Canada... an incredible opportunity to showcase the sport to fans of all ages and inspire the next generation of Canadian volleyball athletes just ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games," said Alan Ahac, Director of Indoor International Events at Volleyball Canada.
