Montréal Alouettes host Roughriders in Thanksgiving Day Classic today, eye perfect home record

The CFL's annual Thanksgiving Day Classic kicks off at 1 p.m. ET today at Percival Molson Stadium: the East-clinching Alouettes (12-3) host the slumping Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-7) in a rematch of the 112th Grey Cup, with a chance at a 9-0 home record.
Why it matters
The CFL's annual Thanksgiving Day Classic takes over Montréal today — a rematch of the 112th Grey Cup. The host Alouettes are 8-0 at Percival Molson Stadium this season; a win today would complete a perfect 9-0 home record, a feat the franchise has managed only twice before (1954 and 2009).
Full report
Kickoff is 1 p.m. ET today (Oct. 12) at Percival Molson Stadium, with a sellout expected. Montréal clinched first place in the East Division last week with a 37-10 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and will host the Eastern Final on Nov. 7. Quarterback Davis Alexander called the shot at a perfect home record "an honour and a privilege," saying the team wants to stay sharp heading into the playoffs.
The visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders have lost three straight and desperately need a win to stay afloat in a crowded West Division playoff race. Saskatchewan gets defensive back Tevaughn Campbell back this week, but leading receiver KeeSean Johnson is out with an ankle injury; veteran kicker Brett Lauther will make his debut after being re-acquired at the trade deadline.
The game airs live on TSN and RDS in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the United States, and CFL+ internationally.
