What he said in the interview

Molson made the remarks in an interview with Sophie Durocher on the TVA Sports program Dans le blanc des yeux. According to reports of the interview, Molson added that, as with any business opportunity, he would consider it if the chance arose, but that no work is being done in that direction. He also said he wants CF Montréal to stay in town.

Last place and relocation talk

CF Montréal has had a difficult season and is set to finish last in the East, with fan discontent growing and the club's future once again under discussion. The possibility of the club moving has resurfaced. Molson had not completely ruled out a purchase when asked during the Heritage Classic, but in this interview he denied it outright.
