Supreme signs official licensing deal with New York City for FDNY, NYPD marks

Streetwear brand Supreme has signed a multi-year licensing deal with New York City to legally use municipal trademarks including 'Made in NY', FDNY and NYPD on merchandise; the first sanitation-worker hoodie and fire-department cap have already sold out.
Streetwear brand Supreme has signed an official licensing deal with New York City, allowing it to use city-owned trademarks on merchandise, including 'Made in NY' and the marks of departments such as the FDNY fire department and the NYPD police department.
Through 2028, with a two-year option
According to Hypebeast, the agreement runs through 2028, with a mutual option to extend it through 2030. It is non-exclusive and was signed through NYC Tourism + Conventions, the nonprofit that handles the city's tourism marketing. Supreme will pay a one-time fee of $22,000 plus a royalty of 6% of net profits from licensed products.
First items already sold out
The deal was first disclosed in a legal notice posted online in early October, and the first items have already hit shelves: a DSNY zip-up hoodie honouring sanitation workers, priced at $188, and an FDNY baseball cap at $58, both reportedly sold out. Supreme's latest Fall/Winter 2026 preview shows more designs using the city marks.
