Taste of Iceland 2026, organized by Inspired by Iceland, runs in New York City from Thursday, October 1 through Saturday, October 3, celebrating Icelandic culture with events across the city.

The three-day festival showcases Icelandic food, music, film, nature, travel, design and innovation. Featured events are hosted at Platform by JBF in Market 57 at Pier 57, Pianos NYC, Scandinavia House, Lavan 541 Chelsea, Other Half Brewing Domino Park and Ivory Peacock.

Highlights include an Icelandic feast prepared by chefs Hugi Rafn Stefansson, Thorir Erlingsson and Haflidi Halldorsson, built around cod, Icelandic lamb and other local ingredients, as well as music and film programming. Icelandair's Wheel of Prizes is giving attendees the chance to win prizes from festival partners, including a trip for two to Iceland.

Most events are free and open to the public, though tickets are required and guests are encouraged to arrive promptly to guarantee entry.
