OC Transpo will adjust O-Train Line 1 service from Saturday, September 26 through Friday, October 2, 2026, for planned maintenance. The work includes special-constable training between Lees and Hurdman (9:30 a.m. to noon), rail welding at uOttawa, overhead catenary wire work at Tremblay, and vegetation management between Bayview and Hurdman.
R1 replacement buses will serve selected segments on September 27 and from September 29 to October 1, with trains continuing to run on the rest of the line. The city says the adjustments are needed to keep the line in a state of good repair.
Riders are advised to check OC Transpo's travel planner and station signage for the latest routing, and to allow extra travel time during the work windows.
