The survey interviewed 762 Ottawa residents aged 18 and over from October 4 to 8, 2026, using a dual-frame (cell and landline) random telephone and online survey, accurate to plus or minus 3.6 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Respondents most want better LRT (O-Train) service and more reliable buses.
Voices
Transit advocate Laura Shantz of Ottawa Transit Riders said transit should be the ballot question of this election. Regular bus rider Ahmed Mahfouz said unpredictable bus cancellations constantly disrupt his daily travel.
