Paris 12th: new Suzanne-Liébrard sports centre opens Monday with 14-metre climbing wall

The new sports centre at 17 Boulevard Carnot opens October 19, 2026: a 2,700-square-metre, three-floor facility with a 14-metre climbing wall, boxing floor, dojo and multi-use gymnastics/dance hall.
Why it matters
The centre is one of the largest new sports facilities in the Porte de Vincennes area of the 12th arrondissement in recent years, giving local residents new indoor climbing, boxing and martial-arts options close to home.
Full report
The City of Paris announced that the Suzanne-Liébrard Sports Centre, at 17 Boulevard Carnot in the 12th arrondissement, will open to the public on Monday, October 19, 2026. The 2,700-square-metre building spreads its activities over three floors: a multi-use hall for gymnastics and dance, one floor dedicated to boxing, and a dojo for martial arts at the top. The climbing wall rises 14 metres, offers 12 routes, has its own separate entrance, and sits in a covered facility protected from the elements. The project was led by SEMAPA, adding a new climbing destination near Porte de Vincennes.
