The nine-day Paris Fashion Week for womenswear spring/summer 2027 (Sept 28–Oct 6) came to a close on Tuesday, with Louis Vuitton's womenswear show by artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière taking the final major slot at 6:30 p.m. Paris time, closing out not only Paris Fashion Week but the entire fashion month, according to the official calendar.
Louis Vuitton streamed the collection live from Paris. The season was one of the most closely watched in recent years: Matthieu Blazy presented his first collection for Chanel on Monday evening, Oct 5, while Jonathan Anderson staged his Dior debut on Sept 29. Other notable moments included Pierpaolo Piccioli's first Balenciaga show and Sarah Burton's Givenchy presentation, and Miu Miu moved from the final day to a Sunday slot.
The official schedule published by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (via fashion press) lists Louis Vuitton at 18:30 on Oct 6, preceded by Pierre Cardin at 17:00, with no major houses after it — making Vuitton the undisputed finale of the season.
