São Paulo May Move Corinthians Derby to Santos' Vila Belmiro Over BTS Concerts

São Paulo FC has asked Brazil's FA for permission to play the Nov. 4 derby against Corinthians at Santos' Vila Belmiro, as three BTS concerts leave the Morumbis unavailable.
Why it matters
Three BTS concerts in São Paulo are forcing the relocation of Brazil's biggest derby. Rare rivals São Paulo and Santos have struck an unusual stadium-swap deal, showing how concert economics are reshaping football schedules.
Full report
São Paulo have asked the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) for permission to play their Campeonato Brasileiro derby against Corinthians — scheduled for November 4 at 9:30pm local time — at rival club Santos' Vila Belmiro stadium. According to Globo Esporte, BTS are scheduled to perform at São Paulo's Morumbis home on October 28, 30 and 31, leaving too little time to replace the pitch before the derby.
The two clubs have reached an unusual agreement: São Paulo would use Vila Belmiro for the derby while making the Morumbis available to Santos in return. The change still needs CBF approval. São Paulo have already played four home matches away from the Morumbis this season because of entertainment events; remaining home fixtures against Vitória, Vasco da Gama, Fluminense and Remo are expected to stay at the Morumbis.
