BTS's ARIRANG tour closes its São Paulo run tonight, October 31, at Estádio do MorumBIS, the third of three sold-out shows on October 28, 30 and 31; Brazil's consumer secretariat Senacon had earlier asked promoter Live Nation and Ticketmaster for documents over the South American leg's four screens versus twelve elsewhere, while São Paulo's Procon-SP logged 518 related complaints, with no final ruling reported.

BTS's ARIRANG world tour closes its São Paulo run tonight. The three shows at Estádio do MorumBIS were scheduled for October 28, 30 and 31, with tonight's finale starting at 8 p.m. local time and gates opening at 4 p.m.; all three shows sold out, marking the group's return to Brazil after seven years.

The dispute: four screens versus twelve

The controversy centres on the number of stage screens. Fans noted that the South American leg used four stage screens, while the same tour used twelve in South Korea, the United States, Mexico and Europe, raising concerns about visibility from upper tiers and seats far from the stage. Brazil's National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon), part of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, notified promoter Live Nation Brasil and ticket seller Ticketmaster Brasil on October 22 and announced the move on October 23, giving the companies five days, including holidays, to submit documents covering the number and location of the screens, sightline assessments for each seating section, and the information given to buyers at the time of sale.

The promoter's reply and the complaint count

Live Nation replied on October 26 that the South American stage setup was "exactly as shown on the official event map published when ticket sales opened in April 2026," with four LED screens integrated into a central tower facing all sides of the stadium for a 360-degree experience; the company attributed the configuration to logistical and scheduling constraints. São Paulo state's consumer protection agency, Procon-SP, said it had received 518 complaints related to Live Nation's BTS concerts between January and October 21, 460 of them concerning the concert structure, and had also sought comparative material on the setup in other countries. On October 28, Senacon published a further notice explaining concert-related consumer rights, including information about the show's structure and access to drinking water.

No final ruling as the finale goes ahead

No final regulatory finding and no across-the-board refund order have been reported; tonight's finale goes ahead as scheduled. The unresolved question remains whether buyers were given enough information about the actual stage setup when tickets were sold, not whether the shows themselves would take place.
