Full report
The October 7 edition of the Diário Oficial da Cidade (pages 568–569) shows SPTrans signed contract 2026/0202-01-00 with Consórcio Starcke for R$59,600,000.10, lasting 16 months from September 30, 2026.
The contract covers technical and operational support for inspecting the municipal bus fleet, the differentiated transport fleet, and the Atende+ paratransit service for passengers with special needs. Inspection authority and regulatory responsibility remain with SPTrans.
The same gazette edition published tender notice 040/2026: hiring an engineering consultancy to support oversight of the city's bus terminal concessions and to carry out quantitative studies. Bids are due December 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Rua Boa Vista 236, 7th floor, Centro.
The tender uses a "technical and price" evaluation with closed bidding; it is not a new auction for operating the terminals themselves.
