Saudi Arabia's Humain expands Nvidia deal to 84MW, about 27,000 GPUs, starting Q4 2026

Announced at Nvidia GTC in Berlin, the two-phase build spans Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems, with 50MW reserved for an unnamed US customer.
Why it matters
Another major AI-infrastructure bet by Saudi Arabia: Humain is expanding its Nvidia partnership to 84MW — roughly 27,000 GPUs — with over half the new capacity already earmarked for an unnamed US customer, underscoring the Middle East's role as a growing source of AI compute outside the United States.

Humain, the AI company owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, announced on October 22 at Nvidia's GTC conference in Berlin that it will expand its collaboration with Nvidia to up to 84 megawatts of AI computing capacity, equivalent to about 27,000 GPUs. The National first reported the announcement.
The rollout comes in two phases. Phase one is 14MW of Nvidia Blackwell HGX B300 systems — roughly 6,000 GPUs — connected with Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, with deployment starting in Q4 2026 to serve Humain Cloud clients including AI firms, government bodies and businesses.
Phase two is 70MW of the next-generation Vera Rubin platform — about 21,000 GPUs — beginning rollout from mid-2027: 50MW is reserved for frontier-scale AI workloads for a single unnamed US-based client, targeted for June 2027, with the remaining 20MW going to Humain Cloud, expected to start in July or August 2027. The companies said the Vera Rubin projects remain subject to final agreements and deployment schedules.
The expansion builds on the May 2025 partnership framework, under which Nvidia said it would supply Humain with hundreds of thousands of advanced AI chips over five years, targeting 500MW of AI computing capacity. Humain CEO Tareq Amin said the company is moving quickly to bring next-generation Nvidia computing into Saudi Arabia "at meaningful scale." Humain is chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and is targeting nearly 3 gigawatts of data-centre capacity by 2030 and more than 6 gigawatts by 2034.
In a separate preliminary framework, Humain and DataVolt signed with Nebius for up to 50MW of data-centre capacity at Oxagon, NEOM, to be deployed in phases.
