UAE lists second retail sovereign T-Sukuk on Dubai's Nasdaq, 5.7x oversubscribed

The UAE's second five-year Sovereign Retail T-Sukuk lists on Nasdaq Dubai as secondary trading opens, with subscriptions of AED 285 million, 5.7 times the target.

The UAE Ministry of Finance announced on Friday that its second five-year Sovereign Retail T-Sukuk is now listed and trading on the secondary market of Nasdaq Dubai, giving individual investors full portfolio flexibility to expand holdings or exit early on the exchange. Subscription orders reached AED 285 million — about 5.7 times the AED 50 million target issuance — following strong demand for the inaugural tranche.

Retail investors subscribing AED 10,000 or less made up 75% of all subscription applications, while UAE nationals accounted for 69% of total demand. The offering drew participants from 110 nationalities. H.E. Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini said the listing demonstrates the Ministry's strategic vision to strengthen domestic capital markets, broaden the investor base for government debt instruments, and provide secure, government-backed savings options that encourage long-term financial planning.
