Crusoe Launches Crusoe Spark Liquid: Sixth-Gen Modular AI Factory with 3.5MW Liquid Cooling per Unit

Built for NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 and Vera Rubin NVL72 racks; factory-assembled and deployable in months to power Crusoe Cloud growth.
Why it matters
US AI cloud company Crusoe announced Crusoe Spark Liquid on Oct. 21 (Denver), the sixth generation of its modular "AI factory" data-center platform, engineered for the ultra-high-density requirements of next-generation rack-scale systems including NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 and NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72. With high-efficiency DLC closed-loop cooling, each unit supports up to 3.5MW of compute and can be clustered to power AI training and inference at any scale.
Full report
Spark Liquid delivers five times the compute density of the existing air-cooled version (500kW to 3.5MW). Built in Crusoe's own factory and shipped ready to deploy, it shortens data-center construction timelines from years to months at lower cost than conventional construction, and its closed-loop cooling consumes no additional water beyond the initial fill. Spark is already deployed for Crusoe Cloud production customers, including Ollama, the world's most popular platform for running open-source models.
Cofounder Cully Cavness told Data Center Dynamics each Spark is three shipping-container-sized modules snapped together (roughly 60 by 50 feet), designed to mix in future generations of chips. Crusoe also announced support for NVIDIA's newly launched DSX POD reference design, becoming the first and only modular data-center platform to achieve NVIDIA Exemplar status for cloud reliability. Liquid-cooled units will enter production at the company's Brighton, Colorado factory in 2027.
