Micron posts record Q4 revenue of $54.2 billion, guides above expectations

Micron reported fiscal Q4 2026 results: record revenue of $54.23 billion and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $33.42; next-quarter revenue guidance of $61.5 billion (±$1.5B) topped consensus as AI data-center demand for HBM and server memory stays strong.
Why it matters
Memory-chip maker Micron Technology reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 results (period ended September 3) after the US market close on September 30: revenue of $54.23 billion, a record and up nearly 3.8x from $11.32 billion a year earlier, beating the consensus estimate of about $51.1 billion. Non-GAAP diluted EPS came in at $33.42, above the roughly $31.6 analysts expected; gross margin reached 87%.
The driver is strong AI data-center demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and server memory. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said: "As strong as fiscal 2026 was, we expect fiscal 2027 to be even better... we expect memory and storage supply-demand conditions to be much tighter in fiscal 2027 and 2028 than they were in 2026."
Guidance and details
Micron's fiscal Q1 2027 guidance also beat expectations: revenue of $61.5 billion (plus or minus $1.5 billion) versus consensus of about $57 billion; non-GAAP EPS of $38.15 (plus or minus $1.00) versus about $35.4 expected; gross margin of about 86.25%.
For the full fiscal year, revenue reached $133.19 billion, up 256%; GAAP net income was $84.97 billion. The company has signed 26 strategic customer agreements covering more than 35% of revenue through 2030, with roughly $32 billion in customer financial commitments. Micron also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share, payable October 29.
