Moment Factory's immersive night walk Astra Lumina opens tonight at Vancouver's Stanley Park — its Canadian debut: a one-mile trail through nine star-themed zones of light, projections and an original cosmic score.

Why it matters

Astra Lumina, the immersive night walk created by international multimedia studio Moment Factory, opens tonight (Oct. 22) at Vancouver's Stanley Park — the show's Canadian debut. The self-guided, roughly one-mile trail leads visitors through nine star-themed zones and takes about an hour.

Full report

The experience takes over the old Stanley Park railway site (690 Pipeline Rd). Its nine zones — Astra Archway, Falling Stars, Cosmic Choir, Starlight Lanterns, Celestial Trail, Astral Genesis, Stellar Visions, Stardust Rays and Rise of the Stars — combine lighting, projections and an original cosmic soundtrack for an immersive night-sky journey, rain or shine.

Entry is timed (every 15 minutes), Wednesday through Sunday, from 5:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Tickets start at $27.20 (dated tickets), $39.90 for flexible tickets and $29.90 for ages 4–12, plus booking fees.
