Vancouver: Bruno Mars' record-breaking five-show BC Place run underway — four more nights to go

Bruno Mars' The Romantic Tour plays BC Place on Oct 14, 16, 17, 20 and 21 — a record for the venue — while TransLink rolls out special SkyTrain announcements recorded by Mars himself.
Why it matters
Bruno Mars' The Romantic Tour is playing five nights at Vancouver's BC Place — Oct 14, 16, 17, 20 and 21 — with the opening show already performed last night (Oct 14). According to TransLink, the five-show run breaks Mars' own record for most shows at a single venue and ranks among the biggest concert runs in Canadian history.
The tour supports his fourth studio album, The Romantic, with RAYE and Anderson .Paak (as DJ Pee.Wee) on the bill. An official merch pop-up shop is open at 820 Granville Street, downtown Vancouver, from Oct 13 to 21, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, selling tour T-shirts, tote bags, key chains and more.
Getting there by transit has its own soundtrack: TransLink has partnered with Warner Music Canada so Mars' recorded voice announcements play periodically at Stadium–Chinatown Station on concert days (Oct 14–21). He is the first music artist to become a celebrity guest voice on SkyTrain.
Tickets remain available for upcoming dates, with the Oct 21 show starting around $236 CAD, according to Daily Hive. BC Place enforces a strict bag policy — bags no larger than 6.5" x 8.5".
