The Vancouver Canucks welcome the Edmonton Oilers to Rogers Arena on Thursday, October 1, at 7 p.m. for their 2026–27 home opener, presented by RBC. The club opened its season two nights earlier on the road at Rogers Place.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for "Live at RBC Landing," starting at 5 p.m. with live music, games, alumni autograph sessions, dance-team performances and a retail trailer. The first 10,000 fans through the doors receive a limited-edition RBC jersey blanket, and the club will debut its new opening video and introduce the 2026–27 roster and coaching staff.
"Opening night is about bringing our fans and our community together," said Michael Doyle, president of Canucks Sports & Entertainment, business operations, promising frictionless entry and new food and beverage options. The homestand continues Saturday against the Calgary Flames and Sunday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
