Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME) Canada will host its first Vancouver event on November 18, 2026, launching its first West Coast intake: the program launched in Toronto on September 23, with the inaugural Toronto cohort running six months to March 2027; the Vancouver event follows the Toronto launch format and is open to prospective mentors, mentees and corporate partners.

The Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME) Canada is heading to the West Coast: the organisation will host its first Vancouver event on November 18, 2026, marking the start of its first West Coast intake. The announcement, made on October 26, is the next step in TIME Canada's national expansion since its Toronto launch in September.

From Toronto to Vancouver

TIME Canada officially launched on September 23, 2026, at Intrepid Travel's Toronto office, bringing together mentors, mentees, partners and leaders from across the Canadian travel trade. The inaugural Toronto cohort is now under way on a six-month program running until March 2027. The organisation says the response since launch has been strong, with mentees already signed for the first West Coast intake and new corporate partners joining, to be announced at the Vancouver event.

What the Vancouver event offers

The Vancouver event follows the same format as the Toronto launch: networking, helping build the TIME Canada community and learning how the program works. It is open to anyone thinking of giving back as a mentor, looking for guidance as a mentee, or interested in getting involved as a corporate partner. Edith Beaudoin, Country Program Manager for TIME Canada, said: “The response since starting the chapter in Canada has been remarkable. People across the industry clearly want this. Vancouver is the next step toward our goal of having TIME across the country, so that wherever you work in travel, there's a mentor ready to help you grow.”

How the program works

Each TIME program runs for six months and pairs an emerging professional with a senior industry leader for 24 hours of one-on-one, mentee-led mentoring, plus workshops and networking events, with an in-person induction and graduation. Silver partners include Air New Zealand and Collette; Air New Zealand is also funding a scholarship for one mentee to join the March 2027 Toronto intake, with applications still open.
