Why it matters

Full report

The DowntownDC Business Improvement District announced the Holiday Market's 22nd season with an extended run: November 13 to December 23, 2026, WTOP reported on Oct 4.

The market returns to F Street NW between 7th and 9th Streets NW in Penn Quarter/Chinatown. It is free and open to the public, featuring local makers and artisans, seasonal food and drinks, holiday décor, and entertainment.

The DC Makers' Guild, through the Heurich House craft incubator, will return to the market for a second year, running November 13–December 23 alongside the main event.

The market is a proven downtown economic driver: past editions have drawn more than 500,000 visitors per season, bringing foot traffic to downtown restaurants, museums, and small businesses at the year's busiest shopping season.
