The Ottawa Senators announced on October 27 a new three-year partnership with Lightenco, naming the Ottawa-based energy solutions company the team's Official Lighting and Electrification Partner.

A decade-long relationship, upgraded

The two organizations have worked together for more than a decade, with Lightenco supporting lighting projects at Canadian Tire Centre, including significant lighting retrofits over the past three years. The team said the partnership will create new opportunities for engagement with the Senators' business community, partners and fans throughout the next three seasons.

The two partners

Lightenco is an Ottawa-based company and one of Canada's fastest-growing companies, delivering energy-efficient lighting, engineering consulting, electrical services, solar energy and EV charging solutions. Lightenco CEO Ray del Cojo said it is particularly meaningful for an Ottawa company to partner with an organization that plays such an important role in the community, while Senators Vice President of Business Operations Chris Phillips said Lightenco has been a valued partner in helping modernize the team's facilities over the past decade.
