Paris Metro Line 12 will be closed all day on November 14-15 between Jules Joffrin and Mairie d'Aubervilliers, with six northern stations unserved, as RATP carries out infrastructure work for the future MF19 trains.

Paris Metro Line 12 will close its northern section all day on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15. According to an announcement by Paris transport operator RATP, summarised by Sortiraparis on October 26, the closure will run between Jules Joffrin and Mairie d'Aubervilliers stations, as infrastructure is adapted for the future MF19 trains.

The six stations affected

Six stations in the north will not be served for the two days: Marcadet-Poissonniers, Marx Dormoy, Porte de la Chapelle, Front Populaire, Aimé Césaire and Mairie d'Aubervilliers, the current terminus. During the closure, Jules Joffrin station will become the temporary northern terminus.

Linked to the new MF19 trains

RATP says on its Line 12 works page that infrastructure upgrades for the arrival of the new MF19 rolling stock will lead to closures towards the end of 2026; this mid-November weekend closure is part of that programme. Passengers travelling that weekend should check RATP's live traffic updates before setting out to confirm whether their section is affected.
