The three dates

The series kicks off in Kirribilli on Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 9am to 3pm on Burton, Bligh and Broughton streets, marking the 50th anniversary of the Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre and Markets with live entertainment, food, market stalls and family activities. The second event, North Sydney Streets: CBD After Dark, takes over Denison, Mount and Spring streets on Friday, February 5, 2027, from 4pm to 9pm. The series wraps up in Crows Nest on Saturday, March 20, 2027, from 9am to 3pm, when Willoughby Road between Falcon and Albany streets becomes a community-focused event precinct.

A different way to experience the neighbourhood

North Sydney Mayor Zoë Baker said the series is about giving residents a chance to experience their neighbourhoods differently and spend time together, while supporting local businesses and performers. The series is a three-year initiative running from 2025 to 2028, funded through the NSW Government's Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW, with 2026–27 its second year.
