Why it matters

Dubai Investments on October 19 announced plans for an initial public offering of a 20% stake in DIP Holding — about 1.735 billion existing shares — on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), which would be the first market listing in the United Arab Emirates this year. The subscription period runs October 27 to November 3, with listing expected on November 11, subject to regulatory approvals.

DIP Holding owns and operates Dubai Investments Park, a 23 million-square-metre mixed-use community spanning logistics, industrial, residential and commercial uses, with about 1,000 tenants and ground lease occupancy of 99.9% as of the end of June.

Full report

All the offer shares are existing shares being sold by Dubai Investments; DIP Holding itself will receive no proceeds. The parent company would retain an 80% stake after the offering and said it will use the proceeds to expand its businesses and for general corporate purposes.

Retail investors can apply with a minimum of Dh5,000, in multiples of Dh1,000. The offer price range will be announced on October 27, with the final price set on November 4. Existing retail shareholders of Dubai Investments will also be able to participate. Dubai Investments' shares were up more than 2% in midday trading on Monday.

Financially, DIP Holding generated revenue of 960 million dirhams in 2025 and 492 million dirhams in the first half of 2026. It expects annualized dividends of 700 million, 725 million and 750 million dirhams for 2026, 2027 and 2028 respectively, with the first post-IPO dividend of 350 million dirhams payable in April 2027 for the second half of 2026.
