Brewers sweep Dodgers to reach World Series for first time since 1982

Milwaukee rallied from 4-0 down to beat Los Angeles 6-4 in NLCS Game 4 at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, sweeping the two-time defending champions and reaching their first World Series since 1982.
Why it matters
It is Milwaukee's second World Series trip ever (the first was 1982, lost to St. Louis) and the first time in MLB history a club completed a postseason sweep one year after being swept by the same opponent. The Dodgers' bid for a three-peat ended at home.
How it happened
The Dodgers jumped ahead 4-0 in the second on Shohei Ohtani's first postseason homer (a three-run shot) and Andy Pages' RBI single. The Brewers chipped back: Jake Bauers' two-run double in the fourth, a five-run rally built on four walks in the fifth to tie it, Garrett Mitchell's go-ahead homer in the sixth, and David Hamilton's solo shot in the ninth to make it 6-4. Reliever Aaron Ashby threw three scoreless innings for the save.
Bauers (three RBIs) was named NLCS MVP. Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow allowed four runs over 4.1 innings in the loss.
