The Canadian Football League (CFL) confirmed on 31 October that the East Final will be played on Saturday, 7 November at 3 p.m. ET at Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal, where the East Division champion Montreal Alouettes will host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The winner will play in the 113th Grey Cup on 15 November at 6 p.m. ET at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
A fifth straight division final for Montreal
It is Montreal's fifth straight appearance in a division final and the club's 38th East Final appearance. The Alouettes last hosted a division final in 2024. The two teams have met only once before in an East Final, in 2000, when Montreal won 35-24; last season, Montreal beat Winnipeg 42-33 in the East Semi-Final. Montreal is 29-11 at home in the Grey Cup playoffs, while Winnipeg is 25-34 on the road.
Split season series, injury watch
The teams split the 2026 season series: Winnipeg won 44-28 at home in Week 13, and Montreal won 37-10 at home in Week 18. According to 3DownNation on 1 November, BET99 has installed Montreal as heavy favourites for the East Final. Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros missed the East Semi-Final with a rib injury, with Dru Brown starting in his place, so his availability will be watched all week. The East Final will air on TSN1, TSN3, CTV, Crave and RDS in Canada, and on CFL+ internationally.
