POCO X8s goes global: a 6.35-inch compact phone with a 6,330mAh battery, from $399 early-bird

POCO launched the X8s in global markets on October 26: a 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 6,330mAh silicon-carbon battery and 100W charging, with early-bird pricing from $399.
POCO launched the X8s in global markets on October 26, 2026, pitching a compact phone that does not give up battery life: a 6.35-inch display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 6,330mAh battery and 100W wired charging, aimed at buyers who want a smaller phone without sacrificing endurance.
Small screen, big battery
The X8s has a 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 3,500 nits and uniform 1.18mm bezels. It measures 151.1 by 71.8 by 8.06mm, weighs 187g, is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, has an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor and runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
The battery is the headline feature: a 6,330mAh silicon-carbon cell with 100W wired charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. Packing that capacity into a compact body is what sets the X8s apart in its class.
Cameras and performance
The rear camera system combines a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, plus a 20-megapixel front camera. Power comes from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4nm, up to 2.8GHz), with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
One trade-off worth noting is memory and storage: the official specifications list LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, older standards that help keep the price down.
Early-bird pricing, with a caveat
Early-bird pricing starts at $399 for the 8GB/256GB model and $499 for the 12GB/512GB model, in Blue, Black and White. These are global early-bird prices; retail prices and sale dates may differ by market and should not be read as a single worldwide checkout price.
